In an excerpt first seen by Politico, Trump apparently threatens to imprison Zuckerberg for life if the Meta chief executive attempts to 'plot against' him in the upcoming presidential election.
According to Politico, Trump writes in the book: "We are watching [Zuckerberg] closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election."
The outlet also reports that the book features an undated photo of a meeting between Trump and Zuckerberg in the White House, with the former president captioning the photo '[Zuckerberg] would come to the Oval Office to see me.'

"He would bring his very nice wife to dinners, be as nice as anyone could be, while always plotting to install shameful Lock Boxes in a true PLOT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT," Trump continued, seemingly referring to a $420 million contribution Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, made during the 2020 presidential election.
At the time, the couple shared that they wanted to 'make it easier for people to cast their ballots' funneling their contribution into election infrastructure amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
"He told me there was nobody like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time, and for whatever reason, steered it against me," Trump continues in the book.

The former president has repeatedly claimed - without evidence - that the Facebook founder intervened in the 2020 presidential election, as per The Independent.
Trump alleges that Zuckerberg wanted to sway the election in favor of Joe Biden who was inaugurated as President on January 20, 2021.
Throughout his 2024 re-election campaign, Trump has been outspoken on his plans to pursue 'election fraudsters,' particularly referring to Zuckerberg.

Writing on Truth Social last month, Trump said: "We will pursue Election Fraudsters at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. We already know who you are. DON'T DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!"
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg spoke out on Trump's assassination attempt in July telling Bloomberg: "Seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most badass things I've ever seen in my life."
"On some level as an American, it's like hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight," Zuckerberg continued.
"I think that that's why a lot of people like the guy."
