President Donald Trump has issued a warning surrounding nuclear weapons, claiming they are the 'greatest' threat that could 'end the world'.
Tuesday (March 11) marks 50 days since Trump took office, with the president addressing Congress last week on all he has done so far.
The Republican president accused President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy of 'gambling with World War 3' in an explosive meeting, while his tenure has been dominated by executive order after executive order.

Trump sat down with Fox News on Sunday (March 9) to claim that we shouldn't be prioritising climate change as the 'biggest existential threat', but instead nuclear weapons.

The 47th POTUS said: "I listen to these climate lunatics and they talk about global warming, and they say the ocean is gonna rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 300 years.
"And nobody ever talks about nuclear weapons...they don't talk about the dangers of a nuclear weapon, which could happen tomorrow."

Trump added: "We spend a lot of money of nuclear weapons - the level of destruction is beyond anything you can imagine.
"It's just bad that you have to spend all this money on something that if it's used, it's probably the end of the world."
Trump also revealed to Fox News he's sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in the hope of negotiating a new deal with Tehran to restrain its advancing nuclear programme.
The president added: "I’ve written them a letter saying, ‘I hope you’re going to negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a terrible thing'.

"I would rather negotiate a deal. I’m not sure that everybody agrees with me, but we can make a deal that would be just as good as if you won militarily.

"But the time is happening now. The time is coming up. Something’s going to happen one way or the other.
"I hope you’re going to negotiate because it’s going to be a lot better for Iran and I think they want to get that letter.

"The other alternative is we have to do something because you can’t let them have a nuclear weapon."
Trump spoke last month about discussions he wants to have with China and Russia about de-escalating their nuclear weapons programme.
"There's no reason for us to be building brand new nuclear weapons. We already have so many," he said.
"You could destroy the world 50 times over, 100 times over. And here we are building new nuclear weapons, and they're building nuclear weapons."
