Donald Trump just couldn't help himself while speaking to media in Washington just before leaving for Pope Francis' funeral.
The funeral proceedings of Pope Francis commenced earlier today (April 26), five days after his passing on April 21.
Hundreds of thousands have flocked to St Peter's Square in Vatican City to pay their respects to the late religious leader.

Among them includes world leaders US President Donald Trump, President of France Emmanuel Macron, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer and Prince William.
Trump may've secured a better than 'third-tier' seat in the end at the proceedings, but the POTUS has found himself called out on social media for comments he made in Washington ahead of the big day.
Prior to leaving Washington yesterday, Trump said of Francis: "[He] loved the world, actually, and he was just a good man. I thought he was a fantastic kind of a guy."

However, he then went on to discuss how the funeral would also see him able to 'meet with a lot' of other world leaders.
Trump told MSNBC: "It's going to be very interesting. We're going to meet with a lot of the foreign leaders, they want to meet.
"Trade deals are going very well. I think Russia and Ukraine, I think they are coming along, we hope, very fragile. And Iran I think is going very well. We'll see what happens. We're working on plenty of things."
A Twitter user responded: "My goodness. Please tell me Donald Trump isn’t going to try to work trade deals at Pope Francis’s funeral."

"Disrespectful," another added.
A third commented: "He should be shunned."
And it's not the only reason Trump has come under fire surrounding the Pope's funeral either.

After showing up in a blue suit - opposed to the traditional symbol of mourning and respect, black - Trump found himself similarly slammed online.
One Twitter user wrote: "Trump the only world leader without the respect to wear black at Pope Francis funeral. He’s a disgrace to America and the world. God bless Pope Francis."
"What is it with Trump that he did not even have the decency to wear a black tie, never mind he wore a blue suit," a second commented.
A third added: "Look at our tone deaf, idiot President Trump wearing blue at Pope Francis funeral. Not a day goes by that this makeup covered moron doesn't embarrass us on the world stage."
