The husband of YouTuber Donna Jordan, who sadly passed away earlier this week, interrupted her final video to deliver the sad news.
Crafts creator Donna Jordan's video began like any other, with a tutorial focusing on how to make a drop diamonds quilt.
Donna - who had been making quilts for over 50 years - told followers from her Oregon shop: "Today I'd like to show you how to make a quilt called drop diamonds."

But around 11 minutes in to the video and her husband Matt Jordan appeared on the camera, where he explained that his wife had passed away days earlier.

"Hi everyone, my name is Matt Jordan... unfortunately on March 14th at about 4am in the morning Donna passed away," he said.
"Donna has been battling an illness for a few years now and in the last three months it became more acute and she needed more treatments.

"When I met Donna, I was 16 years old and she was 16 years old, and she was already making quilts. I'm 67 now - I don't know how long that is, I can't count that high.
"But she's been making quilts the whole time and we've been working on our crafts of fabric and quilting and quilts for about 50 years.
"I just want to tell you that Donna loved what she did - she couldn't believe that she could make money making quilts and cutting quilts and teaching people how to do them.
"It was such a blessing to her and I hope that it was a blessing to you all.

"We will miss her greatly here... for me, she was a great wife and a great business partner... a great mother."
Meanwhile, in the comments, one of Donna's sons, James - who filmed all her videos - added: "We love you all so much, thank for watching and sharing quilting with us for so many years.
"I filmed my mom on a cell phone for 8+ years and truly enjoyed spending every minute with her. She was such a caring, funny person full of joy and had such a passion for quilting. We loved sharing everything with all of you."

At the end of the video, a montage of photographs of Donna was shared.
Meanwhile, Donna's followers flocked to the comments to share their messages, with many admitting they were overcome with emotion at the news.
One person commented: "I cried for a lady I never met but felt like I knew from the many tutorials I have watched. My sympathy to the Jordan family. She will be deeply missed."

While another said: "Although I never met Donna in person... this is heartbreaking. She made quilting achievable and spread her joy and knowledge all over the world. Even here in Europe. She will be missed but never forgotten!"
And a third added: "This was such a shock! I feel like I've lost my best friend in quilting!

"Donna was such a blessing and a wonderful teacher. She enabled me to begin my quilting journey for real back in 2014.
"She made me realize I could do it without fear of doing it wrong.
"I love you, Donna, and will miss your smiling face and happy character so very much! Rest in peace. May God bless and keep your family in his wonderfully caring arms."
