It takes guts to explore the unexplored and take risks to discover fresh paths underneath the earth.
But what happens when you stumble upon the 'Staircase to Hell'?
Two case divers decided to try their hand at an incredible 450–500-meter drop after traveling 11 hours to visit a crazy cave site.

The pair, known as ActionAdventureTwins on YouTube aren’t strangers to doing insane explorations, but this one ended up being special.
That’s because the cave was an endless pit of tunnels and rocks that shaped into odd staircases as it wound further and further downward.
Including a waterfall and what looked like snow crystals on the formations, it was certainly a stellar find for the pair of guys.

On their third attempt at climbing down, the two decided to explore the depths of this pitch-black hole in the ground.
In a video posted to their channel, one of the twins can be seen lowering themselves down the middle of the gigantic drop via a slim rope.
With his headlamp lighting up the area, you can see plumes of water crashing down on him as he traveled underneath the waterfall to the bottom.
When he got there, he realized that he had dropped his walkie talkie in water, leaving him without communication to this partner at the top and that he’d also left his bag on the surface, which contained his torch batteries and other essentials.

Thankfully, moments later, his partner in crime can be seen lowering themselves too, with his bag in tow.
Now that the pair were both at the bottom of the enormous pit, it was time to explore.
The two men decided to follow the path of the water for awhile as one was very curious about a waterfall in the distance.

When they trekked across, they found some crazy sights, such as rocks covered in jagged fragments, what appeared to be snow on the walls, crystals and various shapes of structures that could be likened to stairs and slabs.
All in all, the pit would be a terrifying ordeal to be trapped in and it certainly looks like it could lead you down to meet with Satan if you travel too far.
Thankfully, the pair were able to retrace their steps after seeing that it could reach a further 150 meters up in another spot and decided to instead follow the waterfall before doing a U-turn.
At the end, the pair had to utilise their ropes to climb back up to safety, and commenters were gripping the edges of their seats with worry for the pair throughout.

According to experienced cave divers, there were moments that could have led to tragedy had the men not been lucky.
One person wrote: “Okay. You made it out. Been caving for 42 years and to be honest guys, that 450’ drop in the water was beyond sketch, it was downright risky.
"Lost a dear friend in Ellison’s due to hypothermia. I noticed bolts on the wall as you descended, perhaps to keep you out of the water flow. I love you guys, and the adventure you bring to my tired old bones, but please, don’t tempt fate like that again.”
Another wrote: “Never watched a video from you guys before, but that last huge drop was downright scary! I can only imagine how cold that water must have been! Rappelling under water like that is so risky for so many reasons, but I'm glad you both got out ok.
"So many stories of cavers doing similar drops and not being able to make it back out due to hypothermia and the force of the water.”
Thankfully, they got out fine.
