George Clooney has finally snapped back at Donald Trump two months after the former president told him to 'go back to television'.
If you don't remember the 45th president's tirade about the two-time Oscar winning actor and President Joe Biden, then I'll quickly brief you.
Back in July, Trump was not happy after Clooney wrote an 870-word op-ed for The New York Times calling for Biden to opt out of running for a second term to give the Democratic Party a better chance at beating Trump when voters got to the polls on November 5.

In it, the 63-year-old Democrat labeled Trump's presidential campaign as a 'revenge tour', adding 'we’re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term' that the party has ignored signs that Biden isn't fit to stand again.
78-year-old Trump then took to Truth Social to say: "So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He's turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are.
"What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrat 'talking point' that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has 'saved our Democracy'.

"No, Crooked Joe was the one who WEAPONIZED Law Enforcement against his political Opponent, who created the most devastating INFLATION in the history of our Country, who Embarrassed our Nation in Afghanistan, and whose crazy Open Border Policy has allowed millions of people to illegally pour into our Country, many from prisons and mental institutions."
The Republican continued: "Crooked Joe Biden didn't save our Democracy, he brought our Democracy to its knees. Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!"
Now, Clooney has bit back while appearing as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night (September 17).
The popular host dove into the Trump versus Clooney drama and even pulled up Trump's post, saying himself 'he doesn't know that movies are fake does he?', as they referenced the politician calling Clooney a 'fake actor'.

Responding to Trump's 'get out of politics and go back to television' line, the legendary actor quipped: "I will if he does."
But Clooney is not the only celebrity to come under fire from Trump as he took to his social media platform again, the target this time was Taylor Swift.
He simply wrote: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

It came after she urged her fans to use their vote any way they would like, while also informing them she will be voting for Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Swift's decision to let her fans know her political swaying came after Trump's campaign team were duped when they posted a fake AI generated photo of her saying she was voting for the Republican.
