Gypsy Rose Blanchard's estranged husband is having to take paternity test to prove who the father of his estranged wife's baby is.
Last month, the ex convict announced that she's pregnant with her first child, just months after her release from prison.
Blanchard had been serving a 10-year sentence for second-degree murder following the death of her abusive mother, Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard.

She only ended up serving seven years of her sentence, however, and was released in December 2023.
While in prison, the 33-year-old wed Ryan Anderson in July 2022. The pair made a handful of loved-up appearances together following her release late last year, but just three months into her newfound freedom, the pair announced their separation.
Blanchard has since rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Ken Urker, whom is believed to be the father of her unborn child.

But Anderson has been urged to take a paternity test to prove that Ukrer is the father and not him.
Speaking on a TikTok livestream on Saturday (August 10), Anderson said: "I have to get a DNA test. I don't have a choice."
Going on to say he 'hates being in this situation', the jilted husband continued: "I have to take a DNA test for court. The way the timeline matches up — I don't think it's mine, but I don't know.

"The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don't know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions."
According to Louisiana State Law, Anderson would have to be listed as the baby's father if the tot is born before their divorce is finalized - unless a paternity test states otherwise.
The law states, as per People: "If the mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the child was conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth, the husband/ex-husband shall be the presumed father, unless paternity is established for the biological father."

Apparently, the law was created to 'protect' children.
Louisiana attorney Beau Brock explained to the outlet: "All the laws in Louisiana concerning paternity are designed to protect the child and make sure the child has a father and a mother to provide for them. So that presumption can be overcome by DNA and that's what people have to do."
Over the weekend Blanchard and Urker hosted a gender reveal party and announced that they're expecting a little girl.
The mom-to-be penned on Instagram: "The moment y’all have been waiting for... It’s a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family."
