A woman sent a concerning final text before being reported missing by her family.
Hannah Kobayashi was traveling from her home in Maui, Hawaii, to get a connecting flight to New York via Los Angeles.
But Hannah never boarded her flight at LAX, meaning she didn't make it to the Big Apple as planned.

Her family has since filed a missing persons report, and the Los Angeles Police Department has launched an investigation into the 31-year-old woman's whereabouts.
Hannah's dad, Ryan Kobayashi, has jetted out to Los Angeles to help with the search in hope of finding out more information about where Hannah is.
He told Hawaii News Now: "We’re just trying to get us as much information as we can.

"Want to get the word out... has anyone seen my daughter?"
Hannah's phone had her last pinned location as LAX on Monday, November 11.
On the day, she sent a worrying text to a friend that read: "I got tricked pretty much into giving away all my funds for someone I thought I loved."
According to the news outlet, she also sent a message saying that she was scared.

But now Hannah's phone is untraceable, having seemingly been switched off.
Sydni Kobayashi, the missing woman’s sister, explained to KHON: "We know her phone’s off because it goes straight to voicemail.
"We’ve been trying to call and call and call, text. None of the texts are getting delivered. We can’t locate her phone."

She further branded the last text Hannah supposedly sent as 'cryptic' and suggested that it might not have been the 31-year-old who sent it.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help fund the search for Hannah.
Emi Ko, a relation of Hannah's who set up the fundraiser, also has suspicions about her final text and said it was 'uncharacteristic'.

She wrote on the page: "Hannah, our beloved family member and friend, is a warm, grounded, and wise soul who has touched the lives of so many. Her sudden disappearance has left all of us heartbroken and desperate to bring her home.
"The last known contact with Hannah was an uncharacteristic text message sent on November 11th. Since then, her movements have been unclear, her phone has been shut off and her family and friends have been working tirelessly to retrace her steps."
At the time of writing, the page has raised $25,000 and surpassed its $10,000 target.
