It's never easy to leave your pet behind when you go on holiday, but one couple came home to the worst possible news.
Newlyweds Masera and Emeka Ndukw had left their beloved pooch with a reliable sitter, only to be informed that their dog had tragically died whilst they were on honeymoon.
The couple now are demanding justice over the sudden death of their Bernedoodle’s sudden passing.

Their loss is even more devastating considering they only had the dog for under three years.
It was a classic case of puppy love when the Ndukw’s first saw Brooklyn back in 2020, which led to the couple quickly adopting the family pet.
"He was just the sweetest, sweetest dog… He became part of our family," explained Masera Ndukw to Fox News Digital.

Eager to celebrate their nuptials, they organised the trip around their pup and hired Alan Brown – who has been training dogs for over 13 years.
At the time, his company K-9 Direction had been highly rated, but Ndukw still wanted to vet the man before leaving her beloved Brooklyn in his care.
"I did a phone interview with him, and then I met him in person to do an interview with him prior to actually leaving for our honeymoon," she added.
Not in her wildest dream had the Texas woman thought she would never see her pup again, as she jetted off to France.

However, the newlywed quickly became concerned as Brown didn’t keep in contact during the three-week honeymoon.
Ultimately, it led to them cutting their dream holiday short with the couple now claiming that it was then that Brown told them about Brooklyn’s sudden death.
Shockingly, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office has also received similar complaints from another dog owner.

Like the Ndukw’s, the other owner makes similar allegations and claims that their German Shepard, Hersey, also died whilst the trainer’s care.
In fact, Evan Malloy and his wife had also been on their honeymoon in Miami before returning to find their six-year-old pooch had passed.
When they arrived home, the couple were dealt the devastating news and that their dog had already been taken to the vet for cremation.
"He just sort of stood there dumbfounded, like he was at a loss for words, and he just told me, Hershey died," Malloy revealed to CBS News.

UNILAD has contacted local law enforcement and Brown about the allegations.
