Hugh Hefner 'had tapes on many stars' who had sex in his bedroom which he would often watch

Hugh Hefner allegedly taped celebrities having sex in his Playboy mansion.

Multiple former Playboy Playmates have come forward since the death of the notorious publisher to speak out about his behaviour, from the 'cult'-like nature of the mansion to Hefner's 'nasty' poo habit.

Multiple Playmates and an employee hired by Hefner himself have since opened up about his alleged recording of sexual activities within the house.

In A&E's docuseries Secrets of a Playboy, former Playmate Sondra Theodore - who dated the publisher for nearly five years - accused Hefner of having 'tapes on everyone'.

She said: "The first time I looked up at the two screens he had for the TV in the bedroom and I realised it was me, I'm like 'Whoa, what are you doing?' And when we started bringing other people into the bedroom, some girls had the same reaction like 'Whoa'."

Theodore says Hefner would offer to 'turn it off' if it wasn't 'okay' with the girls to film it, however, that doesn't mean tapes weren't still made.

And it wasn't just the girls from the mansion Hefner allegedly recorded either.

Stefan Tetenbaum - who was Henfer's valet for several years - said: "Hefner taped everything in his bedroom and many men and stars and athletes came into the bedroom and had sex with these girls.

"Most of the time Hefner never participated. He just watched, he was a voyeur. He would stage them. He thought of himself as a film director, he didn't want to be on the tapes, he wanted his girls and the stars.

"Many of the girls were devastated after what they were expected to do, what they were forced to do. Well can you imagine, after he had all these tapes of you having sex with different girls, what power he had over these men?"

Hefner's ex-wife Crystal took to Twitter in 2022 to reveal she 'found thousands of disposable camera photos' which former Playmate Holly Madison had spoken about during the A&E series.

Madison - who dated Hefner for seven years - alleged Hefner had 'all kinds of naked pictures' of women he used as a way of blackmail.

Crystal said: "I immediately ripped them up and destroyed every single one of them for you and the countless other women in them. They're gone."

However, what's happened to the alleged tapes - and which 'stars' were featured on them - who knows.
