James Cordon has spoken out about using Ozempic and shared with the world his findings.

But first, what is Ozempic?

The drug, which was approved in the US back in 2017 for use in adults with type 2 diabetes, is a weekly injection that helps lower blood sugar levels in your body by assisting the pancreas in producing more insulin.
Ozempic was not approved for weight loss, despite a number of physicians prescribing it for that reason.
According to UC Davis Health - the University of California's medical center - Ozempic isn't approved for weight loss. But a drug under the name Wegovy is approved, which contains a greater dose of semaglutide.

Experts recommend people avoid using Ozempic unless they have type 2 diabetes.
Speaking on September 19, the former The Late Late Show host revealed: "I tried Ozempic, and it won't be surprising to you when you look at me now, that it didn't really work."

He went on to explain how he was injecting himself in the normal manner 'for a bit' but noticed that it only suppressed his appetite.

Cordon continued: "What I realized was I was like, 'Oh no, nothing about my eating has anything to do with being hungry'.
"All this does is make you feel not hungry. But I am very rarely eating [just because of hunger]."
Joking that Osman was 'looking at someone who's eaten a king size, and when I say king size [Cadbury] Dairy Milk—one you give someone for Christmas—in a carwash'.
Adding: "None of that was like, 'Oh, I'm so hungry'. It is not that, it's something else."

Corden isn't the only celeb to open up about using Ozempic.

Earlier this year, comedian and actor Tracy Morgan revealed he had been using the drug to help him lose weight - joking on The Tonight Show about his use.

He then dove further into it, and quipped: “I've learned to out-eat Ozempic. I out-ate Ozempic. I've gained 40 pounds.”
Back in March, he explained to E! that he was joking and actually 'Ozempic did great by me and I was glad to use it', as he used it to cut his 'appetite in half'.
