Videos from a Texas couple's TikTok have gone viral after a man was arrested for allegedly shooting his partner in the face.

Seyeddah 'Zahra' Hashemi, 28, was found in the middle of the road with severe injuries after her boyfriend, Ladarius Morshun Brownlee, 28, reportedly confessed to shooting her.

Flower Mound Police Department have said that Brownlee has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Following the news, people have been searching through videos shared on their joint TikTok page, @denoandzahra.

One video sees Brownlee putting Hashemi in a chokehold, as she says: "I do not like you," before Brownlee tells her to 'go to sleep'.

He proceeds to walk away before returning, to which Hashemi says: "Deno, I will literally whoop your a**."

Brownlee then resumes the chokehold and Hashemi starts punching him.

In a separate video, the couple appear to be arguing, with Hashemi claiming Brownlee had 'woken up grumpy'. She then asked him to 'lose his attitude' before Brownlee says: "I see, get out of my house!

"I'm sick of this s**t.

"I'm sick of you and I... every damn day."

People watching the videos since the incident have called them 'disturbing'.

According to reports, the pair got into an argument on July 4, before the fight turned physical, WFAA reports.

"The occupants of the vehicle relayed to officers that while driving away from the location, Hashemi and Brownlee continued arguing," read the affidavit.

In a statement, Flower Mound Police Department said: "At 12:49 a.m. today, July 5, Flower Mound Police officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 1800 block of Flower Mound Road.

"Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim lying outside a stationary vehicle in the westbound lanes of traffic.

"The 28-year-old female victim, of Double Oak, was transported by the Flower Mound Fire Department to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine with life threatening injuries.

"The suspect – Ladarius M. Brownlee, 28, of Northlake – was still on scene when officers arrived. He was arrested without incident and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is in custody, and additional charges are pending."

Earlier this week, Hashemi's sister, Sara, shared a statement on social media, explaining that she is 'awake and stable'.

"My sister was shot in the head on Friday, July 5th. She is doing good right now and awake and stable, but a long recovery ahead," she said.

"It has been tough, but with everyone's prayer, she is truly a miracle.

"A week and a half ago, the doctors and detectives told us to say goodbye, and today, she is awake, sitting up and took her first steps.

"We understand everyone is curious, but we have not released any information and would like to keep it private and limit any communication to the news outlet[s] or people outside the family.

"Thank you for everyone reaching out and praying for my sister and our family. We appreciate everyone understanding."
