Concertgoers have discovered a 'serious problem' with Las Vegas' impressive new Sphere venue after going to see U2 live.
At 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, the Sphere is certainly a sight to behold, both inside and out.

Footage of the impressive venue shows the outside lit up to look like a curious eye, a giant basketball or even planet Earth itself, while the screen inside makes it look as if the entire sky is coming to life above you.
At least, that's what it's intended to do.
One concertgoer, a TikToker who goes by the handle @casinocompwallet, called attention to an unfortunate issue with the huge screen that covers the ceiling of the Sphere after they forked out $500 for a ticket to attend a gig there.
In a video shared on TikTok, they explained: "The Sphere Las Vegas has a serious problem, do not buy tickets in the 100s section past row 20, you will be mad."

Demonstrating exactly why concertgoers would be 'mad' at buying tickets in this section, the TikToker showed that the seats there are partially covered by an 'overhang'.
The seats stretching backwards from row 20 are positioned under this overhang, meaning the view of the 'sky' is partially blocked.
Footage from the gig shows members of the crowd moving down past row 20 in a bid to get a better view of the visuals taking place above, as the TikToker adds: "I wanted to make this video to show you that you cannot see the sky past row 20."

The TikToker acknowledged that ticket sellers 'kind of tell you' about the obstruction, but added: "I am going to tell you firsthand, because this happened to me. I was in row 36, and I bought tickets in the 100s and I was extremely disappointed."
Desperate to make the best of their experience, the TikToker described moving to a different open seat in the venue so they could get a better view of the sky.
"If you come to the Sphere Las Vegas, and you expect to see the screen, and you expect to be part of an immersive experience and then you look up, and you're looking at a structure above you, it's extremely disappointing," they said.

TikTok users have shared their shock at learning that the ability to see the vast openness of the Sphere sky might depend on your seating section, with one writing: "They need to fix it omg."
However, other people have pointed out that the 'limited view' is mentioned when booking tickets, meaning concertgoers shouldn't then be disappointed to have a limited view.
