An Ohio family has been left devastated after a 17-year-old girl died when she stepped outside in bare feet.
Olivia Bright died on August 18, just a few months away from her 18th birthday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in East Toledo, with police saying that Olivia went into cardiac arrest.

She was rushed to hospital where tragically she was declared dead.
First responders have said that Olivia appeared to have been electrocuted when she stepped outside.
They said that the 17-year-old had burns on her right hand and was in cardiac arrest, both of which are consistent with electrocution.
Olivia was going inside a camper located in the yard of the family home which had been soaked with rain, according to responders.

Officials from Toledo Edison have said that the camper was not energised at the time.
They also observed that the camper was not plugged in, and the door was closed not charred or burnt.
Olivia's mom, Kimberly, has said that she is still not sure how her daughter died, telling 13 Action News: “All I know is that Toledo Edison cleared my power. They cleared my electrical.”

Kimberly went on: "All I’m saying is treasure your children while they’re here."
Tragically, Olivia's death is not the first time that Kimberly has had to process losing a child.
The mom previously lost her son Brandon to cancer at the age of just 11.
She told the news outlet: “It’s hard. Five and a half years ago, I buried my son Brandon. He was the age of 11, he died from glioblastoma.

“Now I have to go and make arrangements for my daughter Olivia.”
Kimberly is still looking for answers about how her daughter died, saying: “All I want to know is how my daughter passed. That’s the answers I want.”
The family plan check in with the coroner later this week for the 17-year-old's official cause of death.

Now Kimberly is relying on her children, grandchildren, and the wider community to help her get through the immensely difficult time.
She said: "If I don’t have my kids and my grandkids, I wouldn’t know what to do."
The mom went on to urge people: "Be there for your kids, because they could be here today and gone tomorrow, like mine was, and she was only 17."
The Bright family plans to hold a candlelit vigil for Olivia on August 21 at 9.40pm, the time of her death.
They have also started a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
