An ex-NFL star has been arrested in connection with the death of his mother.
After the untimely passing of 73-year-old Myrtle Brown, her family struggled to reach her son - former Buffalo Bills player Sergio Brown - and claimed he had ‘disappeared’.
In the days that followed, the former safety uploaded increasingly erratic videos to Instagram while in Mexico. Take a look below:
Concern for Brown’s mom first began last month, with her family reporting her missing on the weekend of September 16.

Following a search by police, Myrtle was sadly found dead at her home in the Chicago suburbs, with officers finding her 'unresponsive near a creek to the rear of her residence'.
Those investigating the case believed that the 73-year-old had been assaulted and died of her injuries, with her son becoming a person of interest.
However, neither they nor Brown’s family could reach the former NFL star.
Nearly a month on from the gruesome discovery, the ex-New England Patriots player has been arrested in Mexico for first-degree murder.

Police arranged for the 35-year-old to be deported on Tuesday (Oct 10), with him being transported back to Chicago – where he is currently being held.
Before his shocking arrest, Brown uploaded several bizarre videos to his ‘burner’ Instagram account, @intplayerwithapassport.
In the first of the videos, the NFL star made several strange references for the Pixar film, Finding Nemo, with him repeating the movie’s classic catchphrase.

Adding several themed emojis, he told fans: “What the f**k? Missing? They ain’t never seen Finding Nemo? What the f**k is going on?
“This is traumatic. Lucky I don’t have to say a joke. You … what the f**k? Just keep swimming.”
Another video, tagged as being filmed in Illinois, showed Brown walking around shirtless and singing lyrics from Drake’s ‘Legend’.
During the short clip, he said: “Oh my God, oh my God, if I die I’m a legend.”

Though he claimed to be in the States, he was also spotted in a third video with women twerking around him as he clubbed in Tulum, Mexico.
His erratic behaviour also continued on X, formally Twitter, with him writing about ‘fake news’ – although it’s unclear what he was referring to.
The tweet read: “This is all fake news. For tabloids. Fat Mexican men with petty money to trip up an airport.”

“Don’t worry we got the graffiti gang wonding the good vibes. The cartels are Flippin the rug over and lying duh lol.”
With the case still ongoing, authorities have yet to confirm when Brown will appear in court.
