A nurse has spoken out after being suspended for allegedly reporting a doctor who she claimed 'celebrated' Charlie Kirk's death.
Lexi Kuenzle has been a nurse for ten years, almost two years of which she has spent at Englewood Health, New Jersey.
Kuenzle was working at the hospital last week when news broke that Charlie Kirk had died after being shot at Utah Valley University on September 10.
At this moment, a doctor who works with Kuenzle allegedly 'cheered' at the news of Kirk's death in front of her, other staff members and patients.

Apparently, he said that Kirk 'had it coming' and that he 'deserved it' in light of Kirk's controversial views. Kuenzle claims that she then proceeded to report the doctor for his remarks, and she was then placed on suspension.
The nurse has since filed a lawsuit against the hospital and the doctor, named as Dr. Matthew Jung.

"[Kuenzle] had the audacity to question how Dr. Jung can comply with the Hippocratic Oath’s and the American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics while celebrating the murder of a non-violent Christian speaker who was on a college campus," the suit says, per the New York Post.

The nurse alleges that Dr. Jung was in front of her, eight other nurses and a patient on a stretcher when word got out that Kirk had passed away.
Kuenzle said of the news: "Oh, my God! That’s terrible! I love him!"
In response, Dr. Jung allegedly said: "I hate Charlie Kirk. He had it coming. He deserved it."
Kuenzle then questioned him about how a doctor can think someone deserves to die. As a form of apology, the lawsuit claims, Dr. Jung then reportedly offered to buy Kunzle lunch and anybody else he'd offended, says Fox News.

Speaking to The Post, she described Dr. Jung's comments as 'mind-blowing' to her, adding: "I was so angry and upset."

Kuenzle reported the alleged incident to management after it happened and also posted about it on social media. The following day, she was then told she'd been suspended without pay, the 33-year-old claims.
She further claimed that she was later told that she'd likely be fired.

Englewood Health has now addressed the ordeal, telling UNILAD in a statement: "Consistent with protocol and best practices, Englewood Health diligently investigated the Sept. 10 incident that occurred between a doctor and a nurse in a patient care area. We have accepted the physician’s resignation, and the nurse is expected to work her scheduled shifts.
"The nurse was never fired; was never told she would be fired by Englewood Hospital; and will not miss any pay as part of our review of this matter. Englewood Health is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all."
