Nobody wants to be on a plane when emergency strikes, but if we're being honest everybody would probably enjoy having a go at using the exit slide they have.
Flights would be so much more fun if disembarking involved going down an inflatable slide instead of simply walking down some steps or through that tunnel they sometimes attach.
Then again it sounds like a lot of work for the flight crews, so perhaps it's for the best we don't succumb to that burning desire to go down the slide, and there's really no fun involved if they go off inside the plane.

However, if you can't go down the emergency exit slide yourself, then you might as well watch a video of someone else doing it as it's the next best thing and you don't even need to be on a plane that's in enough trouble for staff to decide that everybody needs to get off.
TikToker @johniquec was recently in just such a situation after her plane got a flat tire on the runway and crews ordered everyone to slide their way to safety.
The TikToker's video showed airline staff instructing passengers to 'come forward, come forward, come this way' before telling them to 'leave everything, jump and slide'.

The passengers then made their way to the open emergency exit door, which you should definitely never try to open while the plane is mid-flight as some unlucky travellers have previously discovered.
Instead, the video showed people going down the inflatable slide and into the arms of people waiting to catch them at the bottom.
The TikToker then spotted the reason why they'd all had to get off the plane so quickly as she spotted one of the plane's tires was flat and suggested that the aircraft had 'landed so hard'.
She wrote that it was a 'crazy experience', while people who have watched the viral footage were impressed that none of the passengers appeared to be misbehaving by trying to take luggage with them.

In a later TikTok, she explained that once the plane had been deemed safe passengers were allowed back onto the plane to pick up their hand luggage.
She also said that if they had luggage, they were either delivered to the appropriate connecting flight, the passenger's homes if they weren't getting on another plane or people could wait at the airport and take their bags away with them 'which took hours'.
The TikToker then said that Delta had told passengers they'd be compensated for the flight and they were given vouchers to go towards a hotel room and a meal.

According to Newsweek, Delta said that the flight from Richmond, Virginia and Georgia, Atlanta had to evacuate passenger after 'one of the aircraft's tires blew upon landing and components of the landing gear were hot'.
They offered an apology to passengers and thanked the flight crew and first responders at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for contributing to a safe landing for the 190 passengers on board.
