A video of a lightning 'error' has some people convinced it's a 'glitch in the matrix'.
I sometimes find myself staring into space and having an existential crisis after a rogue thought pops into my head, such as 'Think about how you are basically a speck of dust in comparison to the whole universe' or 'Am I simply a character in a video game and someone is choosing what direction my life goes in?'
Nope? Just me? Maybe I need to stop catching up with the latest season of Black Mirror - movies like The Matrix certainly don't help, either.

And a video of lightning in a storm in Kissimmee - located in Florida's Osceola County, south of Orlando - just adds more fuel to the fire. Catch a look at it here:
On Wednesday, 13 September, a user - who goes by Lucky_Lucky_Baldie - uploaded a 44-second video of the lightning to a Reddit thread titled, 'r/GlitchInTheMatrix'.
The caption reads: "Can someone explain this? Feels like someone forgot to code the lightnings correctly.

"Took my eyes off it for a literal second, turned around and it was gone. Simply poof!"
Redditers have flooded the post in awe of the video.
A user wrote: "The code reached an error and stopped the process because of it. This is why you test every case, people!"

One user on X - formerly known as Twitter - wrote on the same day: "This lightning can't be real. It's a glitch in the matrix bruh."
And the lightning 'show' wasn't the only one to take place last week either.
Another 'awesome' lightning 'show' occurred the day before and wasn't just spotted in Kissimmee, but in other locations across the US too.

"I saw it from Hudson FL. Was something else and were used to seeing all kinds of lighting here in the Tampa are but that was different for sure," a Redditor said.
Thankfully, another Redditor offered a potential explanation for the rapidly disappearing lightning which will save me from any more existential crises.
They wrote: "Drone. That's what most drones have to locate/identify. a blinking locator light. someone put a drone up to catch the lightning show from the air."
"Dude is getting some killer footage too!" another added.
