A police report said Garrison lived with three housemates, who were at the home at the time of his death and claimed they 'heard a noise but did not think that is was a gunshot'.
It wasn't until the following day when his brother went around to check on him that he was found deceased.
Mom Janelle said she asked all of the siblings to go and check on Garrison, but it was brother Gabe who offered to check on him.

Garrison's roommates told police that they thought that Garrison was struggling with an alcohol problem at the time of his death.
Now, Janelle has confirmed the last text she received from her son before his devastating death.
Janelle shared that she and her son text back and forth for a few minutes on the day of his death, until he 'stopped responding' to her.
She claimed that her son sent an ominous group text which allegedly included staff from the TLC show's production team.

When Janelle, who wasn't included in the group text, was told about the worrying text, she sent Gabe to go and check on him.
Garrison reportedly sent the group a final text which read: "I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days."
The text was seen as odd to those close to him, as he was said to be 'doing okay' at the time of his death and was feeling positive about a new job opportunity at a medical facility.
