These bizarre items are prohibited from the Super Bowl and guests could be banned if they bring them to the stadium

Enjoy the Super Bowl this year, but don't bring these items or you could be left sitting outside in the cold

The Super Bowl is upon us, and before you race down to the stadium, there are a few things you need to know that can’t be taken inside.

It’s easy to get excited and rush to the Caesars Superdome, raring to see the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

That’s why checking your bag might not be of great importance.

However, if you end up bringing in one of these prohibited items into the New Orleans stadium, you could be banned for the trouble.

While you might be expecting there to be pretty standard things on the list that the Caesars Superdome refuses visitors to bring in, there’s also some pretty weird things too.

Beach balls

OK, so you already know that you’re not going to the beach, but sometimes, people like to throw them into the crowd and have a little volleyball session during the game.

While it seems ludicrous that someone would in fact bring a beach ball to the Super Bowl, stranger things have happened.

Bum bags

Now, this is a strange pick.

For those of you who like to keep your sensitive items close and away from prying hands, a bum bag is the best thing you could do.

AKA a fanny pack, the bum bag allows you to keep your lipstick, money, ID and phone hidden away and safe from thieves.

Sadly, you cannot enter the grounds with one.

Glitter

You read that right. Glitter.

This sparkly powder is what turns any old event into a party, but you’re not allowed to take it with you.

Why? Who knows! Perhaps because it makes a mess, either way, it’s certainly an odd pick for the stadium to be so strict about.

Stickers

Lastly, we have stickers.

The location doesn’t disclose the reason for this, but maybe it could be something regarding offending others. There are so many stickers that others may not be pleased about, from politics to religion and so on.

So, it’s probably best to steer well clear of any sticker on your person before entering the Super Bowl this year.

Bag policy

For bags, the rules are pretty strict too and the size matters here. An 'All Clear' bag policy applies for all NFL games.

The official website for the stadium states: “Maximum bag size is 12" width x 12" height x 6" depth. (NOTE: This policy is subject to change depending on event tour management. Please refer to the specific event page for more information.)”

So, make sure you’ve read all of this through before heading to Super Bowl LIX.
