A Tennessee woman has tragically lost her life in a freak road accident.
20-year-old Autumn McClure was sitting in the passenger seat of a small car on Wednesday (August 14), with her boyfriend driving the vehicle.
The pair were driving through Ringgold, Georgia, to take her little brother to daycare.

However, tragedy struck while on an interstate as her family say an item flew through the windshield and hit Autumn.
They claim the item had a been a brake part from a vehicle ahead that had come loose and ultimately fallen off.
Ringgold Police are currently deep into their investigation and say they will update the public once more details are known.

"A small, gray passenger car... got a 21 year old female bleeding from the neck. Something's flew through the window and hit her on the interstate," a dispatch audio stated.
Georgia law states that driving with an unsecured load counts as a misdemeanor, with the maximum penalty for conviction being 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up in memory of Autumn while also providing financial support to her family at this difficult time.
The fundraiser reads: "My name is Collin Le, I am raising money to help with my sister Autumn McClure’s funeral arrangement, and to help the immediate family during this difficult time.

"Autumn and her boyfriend were taking my little brother to daycare, when a brake drum flew out the back of someone’s truck, went through the windshield, and stuck her in the chest/neck.
"Autumn passed before emergency services could arrive."
Colin added: "Autumn was a life-long resident of Soddy-Daisy. Autumn was the Salutatorian of the Class of 2022 at Soddy-Daisy High School. She had an Associate Degree from Chattanooga State Community College and was currently enrolled there in the Graphic Design Program.

"Autumn loved the beach and animals, especially her pets. She enjoyed going to concerts, paddle boarding, and hiking.
"Words cannot begin to describe how much she will be missed."
Colin also took to Facebook to say: "I am beyond lost for words, and the reality of it hasn’t set in yet.
"I guess I am writing this to make other people aware, that taking 3 extra minutes to double check, may save someone’s life.

"I could go on for days about how sweet and gentle she was. How she didn’t deserve any of this, and how heartbroken I am."
According to Colin, Autumn was due to celebrate her 21st birthday next month.
