A TikToker has revealed the horrifying discovery he made when exploring some woods.
Red Riding Hood was warned not to go into the woods alone, and most horror films end up in some chase through clustered trees and an almost-certain bloody and painful death, so when will explorers learn?
TikToker John Dale – who travels the world to find abandoned buildings and objects – certainly wished he'd listened to Hood's grandmother's warnings after he stumbled across a scene that is truly the stuff of nightmares and really good stimulus for a Cabin in the Woods style of film.
The video shows a mildewed and shadowy tunnel entrance with four coffins placed just within, accompanied by foreboding music and an eerie narration.

The subtitle reads: "We found these coffins in the middle of the woods inside a tunnel that went underground."
While John decided to pan the camera around for a really good look at the creepy scene, if I'd been there, I definitely wouldn't have needed tempting with any Scooby snacks to get me to run full pelt away from the tunnel as fast as my legs could carry me.
The post has amassed more than four million views and thousands of comments so far, with viewers in awe at the discovery.

Many jokingly referred to characters from The Vampire Diaries, suggesting the scene could be straight out of the 2009 drama series.
In The Vampire Diaries, four coffins owned by Klaus contain 'original vampire'.
"Klaus you left something there," one said.
A second stated: "Besties pull out those daggers and wake up the mikealsons for me."

"Dw it’s just Elijah, Rebekah, kol and finn," a third commented.
Another user joked that the video was a house viewing. "Rent: $1,200 utilities not included," they said.
One viewer offered a slightly more realistic take, that the scene was from a 'private family mausoleum from a stately home that isn’t there anymore'. John replied: "Possibly."

John told the Daily Star how the creepy set-up didn't scare him as he's seen 'many things like this'.
However, what I really want to know, is why John – if so unfazed – didn't go just a bit further and explore the underground tunnel to see what lies beneath.
John isn't the only social media explorer who likes visiting abandoned locations either, with urban explorers Urbexcr having uncovered the ominous history of a tiny bungalow on the side of the road.
