Police have issued a statement regarding a car collision believed to have involved Virginia Giuffre.
In recent days, Giuffre said that she'd been given just days to live after going into kidney renal failure.
Alongside a lengthy post shared to Instagram, Giuffre was pictured lying down and with the left side of her face badly bruised.

She appeared to be in a hospital bed in the photo.
Discussing how she's had the 'worst start to a new year', Giuffre wrote: "I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can."
The 41-year-old continued: "I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day."

She concluded the post by thanking people for being 'a great part of [her] life'.

A photo shared to Giuffre's Instagram page in early March appeared to show the mom in Perth.
Elsewhere it's been said that the police confirmed that a 41-year-old woman was involved in the collision on March 24, The Guardian said.
As per the news outlet, Giuffre went to a Perth-based emergency room today (April 1).
While police say that there were no injuries, a spokesperson for Giuffre said that she'd been involved in a 'serious accident'.
