The trailer just dropped for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, so buckle up and get ready to see your favourite bear like never-before.
For clarity, this film is not to be confused with the Disney's jolly, honey-guzzling version of the yellow bear.
Prepare to have any idea you had of Winnie the Pooh completely blown out the water.

This bear means business and the independent flick, directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, is set to ruin your childhood.
If you're wondering what exactly the film is about, if you couldn't gather from the trailer, the plot sees Pooh and Piglet go on a violent rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them.

Safe to say somebody's got abandonment issues, but we wouldn't say that to the characters, because they look pretty deadly.
And people on Twitter were just as freaked out by the new film, with one user sharing our excitement: "I was on the phone and just said 'Whoa whoa wait, I’ll have to call you back. The trailer for the Winnie the Pooh horror movie is out!!!!!'"
A second was looking forward to ruining a relationship: "I have a cousin who is a huge winnie the pooh fan and seeing this trailer to her, oh boy it's gonna ruin her childhood forever."

Another simply said: "That Winnie the Pooh horror movie…camp."
A fourth even had a pretty creepy suggestion for the director: "Should have had a scary warped voice say 'oh bother'."
However, some weren't so convinced, saying the film's production value looked a little lacking: "I know effort was put into this but kinda looks lake a parody and you can tell that they had a some what Small budget ill still check out just for fun [sic]."
While another said the characters bear-ed (see what we did there) no resemblance to their favourite furry friends: "I swear these don't even look like Pooh and Piglet they look more like men in masks."

Some embraced the film's flaws though, saying: "That Winnie the pooh horror movie looks absolutely horrendous. From the acting to the production values to the plot. Omg I can't wait to see it!"
The cast includes Craig David Dowsett who plays Winnie the Pooh and Chris Cordell who plays Piglet. The dynamic duo are accompanied by Amber Doig-Thorne, Danielle Scott, Maria Taylor, Danielle Ronald, Natasha Tosini, May Kelly, Paula Coiz, and Natasha Rose Mills.
And we are firmly in the group that's ready to ruin their childhood with a so bad it's good again horror.
