Healthcare in the US is notoriously expensive, and now one woman has made light of her bills by showing off her $1.2 million bracelet collection.
Taking to TikTok, Tabitha shared a video of herself strutting her stuff in front of a fancy, wooden staircase that she captioned: "Cancer really said we are going to make you high class."
Over the video itself, she wrote 'me walking into the party with my 1.2 million dollar bracelet collection' and proceeded to show off the numerous hospital bands on her arms, smiling.
Needless to say, the video did not go unnoticed since it was posted to TikTok on 6 October, and at the time of writing, it has been viewed over half a million times.

Viewers were quick to praise Tabitha's collection, with one remarking: "Ok but it would make an excellent statement piece at the Met Gala about healthcare in the US."
"Only in America one has the opportunity to earn bracelets like that," remarked a second while a third joked: "Oohhh can't forget the Gucci grippy socks."
"My husband has a bracelet like that, but it was only 430k," added another good humoured TikToker alongside a laughing emoji.

The video also didn't go unnoticed when it was reposted to Reddit, where people were quick to share their horror at the amount Tabitha was charged in medical bills.
"One of the (actual) reasons I hate America. More anti-poor than anything else," remarked on Redditor.
"I've had a job most of my life and have never been able to see and afford a doctor on my own," revealed a second. "Yay America. I miss my [mum's] health plan."
A third noted: "scary how one random sickness can make you bankrupt for the rest of your life."

"Congratulations to anyone who saw this and didn't understand. You don't live in a barbaric country," wrote a fourth.
"I'm sad because in my country this collection wouldn't cost us money," added a fifth.
Tabitha decided to stick with her joke in her next TikTok, where she shared a video of herself in a hospital gown and showed off her 'designer handbag'.

The post was made in response to a TikToker who asked: "Who are you wearing? St Jude."
She joked: "I was also lucky enough to have the matching handbag."
AARP The Magazine claimed that the average cancer patient in the US will pay $150K on healthcare, but it's been reported to be much higher in reality.
The Mesothelioma Center at Asbestos.com attempted to put this into context by revealing that 63 percent of cancer patients and their nearest and dearest suffer financial hardships as a result of the diagnosis.
