A group of Airbnb renters got the shock of their lives after witnessing an eerie discovery in their room.
TikToker Emily (@emilyr0drigz) documented her experience of what she wrongly thought was an ideal location for a 'girls weekend'.
As shown in the clip, Emily initially shows a wall with a large dent in it, which isn't too bad.

However, the camera then pans towards the bedside, where there appears to be blood splatter on the wall, which goes all into the carpet.
Check the viral vid out below, but a word of warning, the video contains distressing images:
Emily's clip was captioned as 'Lol so silly!!! #wtf #airbnb #fail' and many in the comments were flabbergasted by the blood stains.

One wrote: "Either there was a murder five minutes before you arrived or it’s red polish."
A second suggested: "Listen…… we NEED a part 2 and you NEED to call the police. Love &prayers."
Another simply commented: "Nope I would be checking out bye", although, others were suggesting that the blood was 'too red to be old blood'.
One said: "That’s not blood. Wrong color, and the patterns aren’t consistent with how blood behaves. You’d smell it too. Yes, I am a CSI."

Someone else offered another explanation: "Ok lowkey I knocked a candle off a table at an Airbnb once after blowing it out & wax got everywhere. Maybe it’s that?"
"That’s red polish," another claimed.

Well, this isn't the first creepy Airbnb story as last month, it was revealed an Airbnb host was charged for spying on guests after police discovered he’d taken 2,100 explicit photos and videos with secret recording devices.
Jay Allee, 54, was arrested in November 2021 after a guest at his cabin rental in Texas discovered a hidden camera in the bedroom that was made to look like a power adapter for a router.
Upon the discovery in July, the guest contacted authorities, who later examined the camera along with Allee’s other devices and discovered he’d been secretly recording people for a year.

On laptops, tablets and phones that were linked to the camera and reportedly belonged to the Airbnb host, police found more than 2,100 images of guests naked, half-dressed or having sex, Newsweek reported.
Following his initial arrest, Allee was charged with four counts of invasive visual recording, a felony offence in the state of Texas that carries a sentence of up to 180 days to two years in jail, and a fine of up to $10,000.
