The owner of a $4.2 million house which was won by a rather unhappy couple has spoken out over the bizarre incident.
The couple were left furious after winning the house, which seems more than a little surprising we must admit!
Melbourne businessman Adrian Portelli - also known as 'Lambo Guy' - purchased the house for AU $4.25 million in November 2022, before announcing that he would be raffling it off as a price through his business LMCT+.

The house was won by Kevin and Andrea Griffin, and despite initially describing their win as 'life changing', they soon became disillusioned with their prize.
Now, Portelli has claimed that the couple have accused him of taking items worth AU $100,000 from the property, which was described as furnished.
However, the businessman is arguing that these items were not included in the terms and conditions of the prize.
The Griffins claim that they obtained footage that shows Portelli removing items from the property, including things such as a robotic lawnmower, treadmill, smeg appliances and a BBQ smoker.

In a bold move, they issued him a $102,000 bill listing all the items they believed they were owed.
The Griffins claimed that they believed they were owed all the items in the property, but Portelli argued that these were only included for promotional purposes and were not part of the win.
Now, Portelli has issued one final twist in the bizarre tale.

In response to the couple's demand, he announced he would be giving away all the things that were removed for just AU $1.
He said: “On a positive note, I’m going to give $100,000 to homeless people all across Australia.
“Also we are going to give away all the Block stuff that we ‘took’ – for $1 dollar. And all that money, 100 percent, is going to homeless people as well.

“I’m sure there’s a ton of homeless people at the moment that would die for a $4.25 million house and a roof over their heads. Let’s try help out as many people as possible.”
Presumably, the Griffins will not be among the people who are allowed to purchase the items for AU $1.
Among the items people can win are a wine fridge, a meat smoker, a treadmill and kitchen appliances.
Portelli responded after the couple posted a video with their complaints, saying: “This is the last thing I wanted to do. I was backed up against a wall and had to defend myself so apologies to everyone involved.”
