People are flooding to social media divided after an American revealed his biggest 'icks about the British'.

Igniting the never-ending feud between the US and UK yet again, a TikToker has taken to the platform to reveal the 'top things British people do that give [him] the ick'.

But what's so bad about the British?

Well, apparently there are four main 'icks' content creator Kjordy has noticed while living in London.

K Jordy has discovered four main icks with British people.

TikToker K Jordy - who goes by @kjordyyy on the platform - explains as an American living in London, he 'just can't get [past] these things'.

He explains the first ick begins with Brits' manners: "I have noticed most Brits do not say please and thank you. I'm not saying all of them, but I'm just speaking from experience.

"If I hold the door open for someone they won't even say thank you, they'll look at me like it was my job.

"I'm just like [pulls a face]."

Next up on the list of Kjordy's biggest British icks is our sense of humour.

"I'm sorry but it's their humour - I just don't understand British humour.

"Maybe it's just me, but it's just so dry. They'll say [a] dry a** joke or say something very sarcastic and people are cracking up and in my mind I'm like, 'Bro how is that funny?'" he says.

However, the American does admit 'a lot' of his British friends tell him 'American humour is too obvious'.

"But isn't that the point of a joke? Is to like understand it?" he argues.

He doesn't get British people's sense of humour either.

Customer service here in the UK didn't escape unscathed either, with the TikToker calling it 'booty'.

"I just feel like since they're not getting tips they don't have any motivation to have like great service," he adds.

Kjordy says there are 'so many times' where he's gone out to a restaurant and a member of staff has 'literally been like': "What do you want?"

"Just like that, and I'm like, 'Bro'. And that's just the norm," the American says.

And last, but never least, the final British ick which grates on Kjordy's nerves is he is 'constantly' asked political questions, such as what he thinks about former US president Donald Trump or current president Joe Biden.

"I'm just like, 'Bro, like back home, some people be p**sed if you ask who you voted for'.

"Just it was weird to me when I first got to the UK."

And, of course, Brits have been quick to leap to the video to contest his claims.

He's also not a fan of the political questions either.

One user said: "When he says British people he means Londoners! Where I live people always say please and thank you."

"Nah I'm not believing the please and thankyou one, if anything we say it too much," another added.

A third commented: "You need to learn the passive aggressive 'YOU'RE WELCOME' when someone doesn't say thank you."

Someone else said: "I assure you life outside of London is very different."

And a final resolved: "All these opinions are London based the more north you go the nicer we are maybe travel the whole of Britain and then form an opinion please x."
