Chilling last words shouted at missing teen as he jumped off party boat into shark-infested waters

Chilling last words shouted at missing teen as he jumped off party boat into shark-infested waters

Cameron Robbins went missing on 24 May after going overboard from a party boat

Harrowing footage may show the final words spoken to a missing teenager before he went overboard from a party boat.

Cameron Robbins from Louisiana had been celebrating graduating from high school on the Blackbeard's Revenge party boat in the Bahamas.

Tragically, the 18-year-old was filmed going overboard on May 24, with the video allegedly showing the last words that he would have heard before going missing.

Cameron was last seen in the water at around 9.40pm local time, with witnesses saying that he had jumped into the water overboard.

It's not clear exactly what led to Cameron jumping off the ship, though some have claimed that it was as a dare.

The boat remained in the same spot for a number of hours while authorities conducted a search to try and locate the missing teenager.

But three days later on May 27 official rescue attempts to try and find him were called off.

Neither the Royal Bahamas Defence Force nor the US Coast Guard had been able to find him in the water.

The final video of Cameron since went viral, with some people even seeing what they believe to be a shark moving in the water.

In the video, it's also possible to hear what could be the final words spoken to Cameron.

The former University Laboratory School student has not been seen since he went overboard.

In the video someone can be heard shouting out the words 'bye bye' to Cameron as he floats in the water.

Several people on board the cruise ship are also trying to get his attention as he swims, with a number saying he is swimming away from a buoy that he could grab onto to stay afloat.

Other shouts can be heard to say 'grab the buoy' and 'hey the buoy' as they attempt to help him reach something to help him stay afloat.

But the shouts appear to have been in vain as Cameron did not turn around to try and get ahold of the object.

Cameron then disappeared from view and has not been seen since.

Royal Bahamas Defense Force Commodore Raymond King described the the water in which he fell as 'really shark infested'.

After the search for Cameron was called off, his family released a statement.

It read: "The Bahamas government has called off the rescue for Cameron, and we are returning to Baton Rouge.

"We want to thank the Bahamas government, the US Coast Guard, the United Cajun Navy and Congressman Garret Graves for everything they have done for us.

"In this time of grief, we thank our family, friends and well wishers for granting us the privacy we need to properly remember our son and mourn his loss."
