A couple are taking action after realising they allegedly may have drunk loo water for six months.
A man, who goes by Mr Tan, and his unnamed girlfriend have come forward after making an alleged horrific discovery.
If you thought the news of a woman biting into her salad to find she'd chomped down on a severed finger wasn't a sickening enough way to start today already, then how about washing it down with this?
Mr Tan and his girlfriend began renting an apartment in Beijing, China in May earlier this year, paying CNY 10,000 ($1,400) per month for the property.

Shortly after making the move, the pair began feeling unwell, Mr Tan claiming that he kept breaking out with acne and his hair started falling out and his girlfriend experiencing chest pains and a cough.
Around six months after moving in, Mr Tan says they hadn't received any water bills.
Not only that but their water supply hadn't been cut off, he claims.

He checked the water meter, testing out what happened when they ran the water, but claimed that when they turned the taps on, the grey water meter increased.
So, what had the pair been using to take a shower? To boil food? Brush their teeth with? Or simply drink?
Well, the couple called in the plumbers and they made a sickening discovery.

Despite thinking they'd been drinking normal tap water for the last six months living in their new flat, the plumbers allegedly revealed an extra pipe lay underneath the floors and behind the walls, allegedly connecting the toilet to the water pipes.
The pipes were quickly fixed, however, and Mr Tan is now seeking damages from the company in charge of the building.
The building company told Jam Press that residents who move into the block are given the option between two different water supplies by adjusting valves.

The first, drinking water, or the second, water which comes from a nearby well. The latter is reported as only meant to be used to watering plants or flushing toilets - not for cooking or drinking.
They also said that the water well passed quality tests in March.
However, Mr Tan and his girlfriend contest that they were ever told this and so the company and couple remain in talks to resolve the matter.
They hope to receive compensation if it's proven they did, in fact, unknowingly drink loo water for a whopping six months.
