A YouTuber who's been to 'every country in the world' has opened up about his 'insane' experience in a city he deems 'one of the worst' he's visited 'by far'.

While many of us have been sat crying behind the desks of our day jobs desperately trying to save for a mortgage we'll never be able to afford, Drew Binsky has spent the last 12 years traveling around the globe visiting 'all 197 countries in the world'.

Granted, that may make you want to stand up and quit immediately, however, should you do so, it might not be in order to travel to one country in particular.

Binsky took to his YouTube account in November to reveal he'd 'ranked the top 20 best and worst cities on Earth'.

While the likes of Prague and Hong Kong came out as firm favorites with the traveler, others weren't so lucky and one in particular left him pretty shook.

Binsky may've traveled to areas, such as Johannesburg and Honiara, which are known for their high crime rates but there was one city he went to where he and his friend were 'stopped by two policemen' after just 10 minutes of walking around.

"There was a coup, there were policemen lined up on the streets with big shields and bulletproof vests like war was about to break out," he narrates.

The city? Conakry - the capital and largest city of Guinea. And the YouTuber's experience seemingly didn't get much better from there.

One of the police even popped the pair in the back of their car.

"We got in the car and we drove off, ended up going to the next checkpoint ahead," Binsky explains, noting an official 'ratted them out' and their driver had to step in to 'deal with all this crap' and actually 'negotiate' with the authorities.

Without revealing what the negotiations were for, the YouTuber says their driver had to cough up $20 to get them out of whatever pickle they'd found themselves in.

Alongside the 'entire city smel[ling] like trash' as a result of there being 'sewage everywhere', it's not a massive surprise Binsky resolves Conakry as being 'by far one of [his] least favorite places in the world'.

He continues: "I have a high tolerance for dirty places and I've seen a lot of things around the world... But Conakry was noticeably the worst."

Add in 'not very friendly' people,' the YouTuber and his friend being 'kicked out' of a restaurant by 'some dude' for an unexplained reason and it feeling like 'one of the most unsafe' places across the globe and yup, I doubt many of us will be booking a plane ticket anytime soon.

That's not to say the city was devoid of anything nice however, with Binsky admitting he had a 'pleasant' visit to a popular mosque which was 'quite nice' - with the YouTuber even saying it was 'amazing' once inside.

He resolved: "Other than that, I found nothing going on in the capital of Guinea. And it's probably a place that I will never visit again."
