A YouTuber revealed the 'crazy' sights he saw after tossing a GoPro under a fishing pier.
What you don't know doesn't hurt you - or so the saying goes. And when it comes to looking in the sea and truly seeing what is swimming beneath you, I'd probably rather sit on the top of a wobbly wooden pier in blissful ignorance.
However, angler Brant Peacher decided to take a trip to what's known as the 'world's most dangerous pier' located on Okaloosa Island, Florida and chuck his GoPro under to see what lay beneath.
In a video shared to his YouTube last year, Brant explains he'd attached a GoPro to his fishing rod to drop it over the edge.

He continues: "And I'm going to show you guys some pretty crazy stuff swimming around this pier."
The angler then adds they may even 'try to catch' whatever it is they end up seeing below, but, well, he may've changed his mind after the GoPro revealed a pretty spooky surprise.
Down the GoPro goes into the shallows and from the get go, it's not a reassuring sight for anyone who's ever swum near those waters before - 'a giant tail' just catching the camera's view.

"That was massive," Brant adds.
There's lots of cute little fish and a nice blue sea, however, there's a reason Brant says the clip ends up being 'one of the craziest GoPro drops' he's ever done.
And that's because in the background, the GoPro catches sight of a 'massive' shadowy figure - 'a tiger shark'.
Oh and later on in the clip, the tiger shark decides to swim even closer.

"When I say this pier was covered with tiger sharks," Brant explains. "They were absolutely everywhere."
And to prove Brant's point, another tiger casually swims into view and further along in the recording, one lurks out of the depths, it's beady eyes staring right at the camera.
One YouTube user wrote: "These camera shots were absolutely spectacular. The bio mass of life under this pier is breathtaking. Awesome work."

"Those tiger sharks are a bit more than I’d want to deal with. I’m not sure how aggressive they are but they look big enough to take a chunk out of you," another added.
A third commented: "It never fails to amaze me at how many people I see at the beach swimming by piers."
And a fourth resolved: "As someone who has jumped off of piers in my younger days... dang was I lucky!! Beautiful videos. Thank you."
