The last known video of Nancy Ng on a yoga retreat in Guatemala before she went missing has been released.
On October 14, 2023, the 29-year-old school assistant from Monterey Park in California went on a yoga retreat for the second year in a row in Guatemala.
However, five days later she went missing, allegedly last seen on a kayaking excursion on Lake Atitlán.
Nancy's family told ABC7 they were contacted by those who'd organized the retreat who told them Nancy hadn't been seen since the kayaking trip.

Guatemalan prosecutor's office told ABC News it was believed Nancy had 'drowned' and local fire and rescue officials reported Nancy's kayak being recovered.
Nancy's family then decided to hire a private search team.
The team was led by Black Wolf Helicopters, the company's owner Chris Sharpe saying '90-95 percent of the lake' was 'searched' using a combination of 'boat crews' alongside drones and helicopters.
However, the search resulted in no new information being discovered, with the terrain and a lack of information reported as 'complicating' the search too.

Nancy's family have now shared a video that's believed to be the last sighting of the teaching assistant before she disappeared.
The footage was taken on the day Nancy was last seen, and shows her sitting in her kayak, paddling on the lake.
One moment even sees the teaching assistant turn and wave towards the camera.

Nancy's family are urging people in the yoga group to come forward if they think they have any information which could help.
One woman on the retreat has since come forward via her attorney who said the pair 'happened upon each other on the lake'.
The attorney said the woman 'tried to tell [Nancy] not to swim because it was rough out there and there was a good current' but Nancy allegedly went out anyway.
The woman tried to get back to Nancy, but by the time she'd 'turned around to get back' she was gone.

The partner of Nancy's younger sister has since set up a GoFundMe page to help fund search efforts.
It states: "[Nancy] loves yoga, traveling, hiking with her family, and cuddling with her cat. She has a kind heart, a big smile, and can talk to anyone about anything (and often, everything). She’s a caring daughter, a loving sister, and a supportive friend.
"With the help of Guatemala’s National Tourism Assistance Program and some kind locals, we have mobilized search and rescue efforts. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help support these efforts as well as the Ng Family as they navigate this unfamiliar, terrifying situation.

"It’s never easy to ask for money. It’s even harder under these circumstances. But any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in helping us do all we can to find Nancy and assure the Ng Family that they are not alone. If you can donate, please do. And if you do, please leave a note or say a prayer for Nancy and her family. It’ll mean so much to them."
The FBI is reported as offering Guatemalan authorities resources to help in the search and the state department is in touch with local officials.
