A study has revealed which country has the biggest average penis size in the world.

We all know size isn't everything, but that doesn't mean people aren't keen to know which country in the world is the most well endowed.

Despite everyone's bodies being totally different, people seem to be fascinated by the topic in general.

Just last week, a surgeon and sexual health expert weighed in on the body part that indicates the size of someone's penis.

And spoiler, it's not the hands or the feet.

Dr. Rena Malik appeared on the Diary of a CEO podcast, where she put to bed rumors that men with bigger feet have a bigger penis.

"There’s one study — it’s a Japanese study where they looked at only Japanese men so there are some limitations — but they measured all these body parts and penile length and they found was that nose length was correlated with penile length, not hand length or foot," she explained.

Now, more research has revealed that where you live in the world apparently correlates to size.

Data looking at length vs location revealed different areas of the planet seem to have varying sized packages.

The list, put together by WorldData.com, sees Ecuador in first place, with the average size standing at 6.93 inches while erect.

Then there was Cameroon at 6.56 inches long, followed by Bolivia at 6.5 inches.

The US came in at 60th place, with an average of 5.4 inches, eight places higher than the UK, at 5.2 inches.

Over in Europe and the Netherlands had the biggest manhoods, with an average of 6.24 inches, followed by France with 6.2 and Italy coming in at six inches exactly.

The shortest of the bunch was Cambodia, with just under four inches.

Online pharmacy, NowPatient has explained that the study used 'self-reported data' so it's entirely possible that not everybody was being 100 percent accurate with their measurements.

They explain: "It’s important to note that the original study relied on self-reported data, so it is entirely possible that plenty of the respondents were a little generous with their member measurements.

"That being said, this can give us a basic idea of average sizes around the world, and ultimately, the average size across the entire population."

Meanwhile, WorldData.com even revealed how best to measure, explaining: "In principle, the length is always measured on the upper side from the root of the shaft to the tip of the glans. If there is a fat pad above the root, this may be slightly pressed in during measurement.

"To measure the circumference, one usually takes the circumference at the root. In some studies, the circumference of the glans was measured instead, which is why this information would be very contradictory and was therefore not included in the evaluation."
