A video posted online has got everyone freaking out and all asking the same question: Where did the man go?
After a Twitter user posted a video which showed a man wearing speedos jumping feet first into a natural pool of water beside a small waterfall, concerned commenters are wondering where exactly he went.
The video, which doesn’t show where in the world it was filmed, shows the man as he is above three individuals, standing on a cave-like surface before he fixes his swimming goggles and leaps into the pool.

However, while you’d expect to see him pop back to the surface just seconds later, all you can see are a burst of bubbles and he sinks down.
The clips show the people standing below him enjoying the waterfall, realize that he didn’t come back for air and begin swiping at the water to see if they can spot him.
But he’s nowhere to be found.

Now, commenters are worried for his safety and are calling for an update on the swimmer.
One person wrote in the comments: “Ok I really want to know if he is okay! Who has details???” as another said: “Why are they digging through the water like it's actually gonna do something.”
Someone else wrote: “He may not be ok, and if it’s a cave system under it, the water could have drawn him down under. I hope he’s alright, though.”
Finally, someone brought up a scary thought, theorizing: “I couldn't find anything else about this video, but looking at all those bubbles being freed up when he jumped in might indicate a naturally ‘aerated’ pool of water. If so, he wouldn't be able to swim back up since the water's density is far too low.”
Now, what you don’t want to swim in is an aerated pool of water, as your chance of survival is slim to none.

That’s because it’s a body of water which has been pumped full or gas or air, making it a lot denser than normal water. If an object or person was to jump into it, they would sink to the bottom and would struggle greatly to swim to the surface.
The air bubbles decrease its buoyancy, so if you were to try to tread the water, it would be a lot harder for you to do so, which could tire you out incredibly quickly.
This recent incident sadly isn’t the first time someone went missing after jumping into water.
A viral video which first circulated on YouTube in 2013 showed the last moments of a man’s life while in open waters.

Jacob Cockle, an acclaimed photographer and daredevil, was wearing a horse head prop while being dragged around by a whirlpool.
When Cockle and a friend saw a whirlpool in the sea next to his home, he wanted to get as close to it as possible to capture the inside of it.
Cockle decided to take a GoPro camera and dive below the surface, but he didn’t reappear after diving down.

Unfortunately, Cockle was dragged through the whirlpool and funnelled into a pool, where he was later found face down and unresponsive.
The photographer was just weeks away from a £28,000 expedition to Antarctica he had won, which was his dream trip. However, he would never make it there.
