A YouTuber named Dr DisRespect (Herschel Beahm to his friends) was abruptly banned from YouTube right in the middle of a stream.
He's a popular content creator known for streaming games like Call of Duty and he even set up his own game studio last year, but his YouTube channel suddenly cut out with a message that his stream had been banned.
Like a lot of tech enthusiasts, Dr DisRespect had tuned into Apple's WWDC event yesterday (5 June) where they unveiled all sorts of things for people to buy.

One of the biggest reveals was 'Vision Pro', their augmented/virtual reality headset which looks like a big pair of ski goggles.
While it's drawn some comparisons to Black Mirror and people are pretty shocked at the price, there were lots tuning in to have a look at what was on offer.
Dr DisRespect was one of these and was live streaming the event, complete with himself bobbing up and down in the lower-right corner as he watched along.

However, fans of the YouTuber were in for a surprise as right in the middle of the stream it abruptly cut out and told them his channel had been banned from the site.
"Stream suspended for policy violations," was the message that came up as Dr DisRespect's channel cut out and viewers were treated to a grey screen telling them the stream was unavailable.
Luckily for the YouTuber he was able to get things back up and running in short order, but seemed confused as to why he'd been shut down in the first place.
He wondered if YouTubers weren't supposed to be streaming Apple's series of product reveals as he said 'guess we can’t watch the Apple event' and that he 'just wanna see this headset man'.

Dr DisRespect didn't try and get back to watching Apple's event where they released more information about this new headset of theirs.
You're supposed to be able to switch between virtual reality where everything you see is from the screen and augmented reality where you're looking at the real world but some other stuff pops up as well.
With just the turn of a dial you're meant to be able to switch between these different states, though it doesn't really crack the 'Google glass' problem of it looking weird.

The YouTuber used to be a Twitch regular before getting permanently banned from that site shortly after signing a deal to stay with them for several years.
