Mark Cuban has called on Elon Musk to answer why he's losing followers day after day when he's a Twitter Blue subscriber.
The billionaire, who appeared on Shark Tank, has complained on Twitter that his account is shedding hundreds of followers each and every day, with the daily amount sometimes reaching 1,000 accounts choosing to turn away from his tweets.
You can lose followers for any number of reasons such as people having their accounts deleted or just plain not liking what your posting to the point that they don't even want to see it on their timeline.

Cuban did not like what he was seeing, especially as he'd paid for Twitter Blue and thought it might help give his tweets more prominence to grow his follower count.
Of course if something like this happens then the sensible option is to directly address Twitter boss Elon Musk and ask him what he'd suggest doing, of course.
Musk hasn't yet responded to the billionaire's question and despite Cuban switching off the replies for anyone who wasn't the Twitter boss, plenty of others have weighed in thanks to quote tweets.

First off, we should point out that Cuban's current follower count on the site is 8.8 million, so even if he is losing up to 1,000 followers a day it'll take him a very long time before he stops being one of the largest accounts on the site.
A lot of people were not impressed by a billionaire with millions of followers complaining at losing hundreds of followers a day.
One person said it was 'genuinely so insane' for someone to be that worried about their Twitter followers, while another asked 'you are a billionaire so why do you even care'.
Someone else picked up on Cuban referring to his followers as 'users', and many more mocked the idea that the solution to people no longer following you on Twitter was to pay for the special version which gave you more prominence on the site.

Others suggested that if Cuban wanted more followers then he should post more content people wanted to see, telling the billionaire to 'get good at posting'.
Some others wondered if the reason Cuban was losing followers was because of 'the attrition of accounts on a dying website', explaining that this wasn't some snub of one person on social media but an indicator of folks 'quitting Twitter' in numbers.
There have been claims that the site is now geared towards promoting certain VIP accounts over others, while any press requests to ask the site about what's going on are met with a poop emoji in response.

Meanwhile, Musk has said Twitter's value has dropped by half since he's taken it over, though he claims they can move towards a '$250 billion valuation'.
