People have been left divided after seeing the difference between an iPad from 2018 and the latest model released this year.
The short clip was posted to X and shows an iPad from 2018 put next to Apple's brand new iPad Pro.
Both tablets go on to play the same video at the same time as a way to showcase the difference in picture and sound quality on the new model. Check it out:
There is clearly a difference in the new model, with the screen looking brighter and clearer, and the colours looking richer.

But while the difference was clear, many people were left divided over whether the difference warranted the hefty price tag for the latest model from the technology company, which starts at $999 for the most basic model.
If you wanted all of the fanciest mod cons on the new model as well then the new iPad Pro will set you back a whopping $2,599 before tax, according to Apple's website.
For that you get two terabytes of storage, nano-texture glass, and cellular connection. Add in accessories like a keyboard and it starts to get close to $3,000.
With a price tag starting at $999 and only going up, people had understandably high expectations, which resulted in some mixed reactions.

Some people simply didn't think that the difference in quality was worth them forking out for the new model.
Taking to social media, one person wrote: "The only difference is the picture quality. I still have & used my iPad Pro since 2018. Not worth the money."
They added: "The only time I ever buy a new Apple product is if the one I have is on its last legs."

Another posted: "Would not upgrade just for this. Mini iPad Pro after 4 years still works like it’s new."
Others however were convinced by one feature in particular, the new model's OLED screen.
This is different from previous kinds of screen which use a backlight, and creates a clearer picture and uses less power, but is more expensive.

One person wrote: "What this video doesn't show you is the difference in pixel response time. The OLED screen is incredibly fast. All other models look like jelly when scrolling."
Another wrote: "Only reason I might want to upgrade is this new OLED screen. Will compare irl with mine when I get a chance."
Meanwhile a third said: "This is why I will only buy OLED screens."
The new iPad Pro has been at the centre of controversy after Apple ran an advert which saw a number of creative tools such as musical instruments and sculptures crushed.

Apple has since apologized for the advert.
