A man who bought a Telsa with more than 250,000 miles has revealed ‘one of the worst things’ about it.
Scott Chivers, a self-proclaimed 'automotive addict' with a particular passion for Ferraris, goes by the name Ratarossa on YouTube to document his lavish purchases and share his thoughts on some of the cars he's proud to own and restore.
Now, he's revealed all about the Tesla Model S car which he bought a year ago after his other Tesla broke down.

The car's battery pack had died and Tesla UK quoted him $18,000 for a new one, so he decided to just get another car instead.
While he commended the new Tesla for not breaking down in the last 12 months, he did issue a bit of a scathing review about the vehicle overall.
Scott said: "One of the worst things about this car is the build quality.

"Quite frankly, it's shocking. We've got squeaks, bumps, rattles, knocks. It is atrocious."
The car fanatic said he realizes he's in an electric vehicle but stated: 'No petrol engine would drown out these noises. You would hear them anyway."
He said its noises are 'really annoying' and the fitment 'creaks'.
However, the air conditioning unit is the most irritating in this regard.

Scott said: "The worst for me is the AC system," as he demonstrated the racket the car emits when the AC is turned on.
"It used to be random," he continued, "but now it is pretty much all the time when I'm driving."
"It's not something simple to get to, it's right in the guts of it from what I can find out.

"You can't just take this top cover off and get to it, you have to literally strip out the whole dash."
The noise is also made worse by the car's suspension issues and brakes, he continued.
Other issues he's found with the car is that, while the door handles 'pop out' as they're supposed to, some become 'disconnected' and stuck.

He said this has been 'embarrassing' as he's so he had to crawl into his seat from the passenger side, and all attempts to fix it have been unsuccessful.
"It was driving me absolutely insane," Scott added. "[You] wouldn't be able to open it but it wouldn't just stay out, it would just cycle continuously in and out, in and out, all day long.
"That sounds like a tune but it wasn't, it was the most annoying noise ever."
He also took issue with its 21 inch turbine wheels, slamming their design and saying 'they're made of cheese' and unfit to handle the roads.

However, some of his 284,000 subscribers in the comments said they expected the car to have some issues after clocking up so many miles.
"No disrespect but I'm not surprise that a vehicle with over 250,000 miles has problems," one comment read. "Not sure that's a Tesla problem, that's just a clapped out car."
According to SupercarBlondie, high-mileage Teslas are in hot demand with the outlet reporting success for owners who have Tesla models with 420,000 miles to 1.2 million miles.
The article adds that running an EV for 200,000 miles or more is achievable as long as owners keep on top of maintaining it.
UNILAD has contacted Tesla for comment.
