The plot seemingly thickens as ‘non-human alien corpses’ allegedly found in Peru are reportedly exhibiting an 'odd' fingerprint structure.
Last year, two alleged ‘alien corpses’ were presented to the Mexican Congress by James Maussan, 70.
At the time, the UFO enthusiast claimed under oath that he’d recovered the two-century-old celestial beings from Cusco in Peru.
He added that the bodies were not part of ‘our extraterrestrial evolution’ and that 30 percent of their DNA was ‘not from any known species’.

Despite the so-called otherworldly beings being presented last September, an official determination is yet to be made regarding their nature.
However, the mystery surrounding the ‘alien corpses’ has seemingly deepened.
Joshua McDowell, a former Colorado prosecutor and current defense attorney, has spoken to The Daily Mail after he and a trio of three independent forensic medical examiners from the United States claimed to have inspected one of the bodies.
He claimed one of the three-fingered ‘alien corpses’ - dubbed Maria - boasted non-‘traditional human fingerprint patterns’.

“Much of her body is covered in diatomaceous earth,” he began. “However, on the fingers that were exposed, the epidermal ridges I saw appeared to be in mostly straight lines.
“We did not see any loops or whorls on the prints of the fingers or on the toes.
“I’m a former prosecutor. I’m a criminal defense attorney. I’ve seen lots of fingerprints. And these were not classic fingerprints,”

According to McDowell, there could still be a terrestrial explanation for the unusually straight ‘friction ridges’.
“It could possibly have something to do with the way her skin was preserved,' he continued. “It's very odd.”
The expert added that his team - consisting of his father Dr John McDowell, a forensic odontologist, a city coroner from Denver and a forensic anthropologist from Maryland's State Medical Examiner - will continue to work to identify the true nature of the ‘ET’ mummies.
“I’ve been to Mexico a couple times, spent a week in Peru. Two to three hours a day, I'm dealing with something on this.”

Earlier this year, Peru’s prosecutor’s office dispelled claims that two more alien bodies had been found by confirming they were nothing more than DIY projects.
At the time of the ruling, forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada said that the idea that these two beings came from ‘another planet’ was ‘totally false’.
“The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times,” she explained to the press.

“They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens.”
Experts confirmed that the manufactured dolls had been constructed using bones from small animals as well as metal, glue and paper.
