Blue Origin's all-women crew is under fire from conspiracy theorists with some pointing out the one particular detail they believe is 'proof' the mission was 'fake'.
On Monday (April 14), Blue Origin's rocket ship mission successfully took off from Launch Site One in West Texas at 10am EDT.
Onboard was the likes of Katy Perry and author and journalist Lauren Sánchez - who's also engaged to Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos.

The flight marks the first all-women crew to have launched into space since 1963 when Valentina Tereshkova was sent into orbit by herself by the Soviet Union.
Alas, despite footage from the event being shared online, the all-women crew were actually in space. Also going around is a clip of Perry screaming upon landing back on Earth and Bezos face-planting dirt - some social media users aren't convinced.
Like anytime anything to do with space happens, various conspiracy theorists have come crawling out the woodwork onto Twitter to brand the mission 'fake,' many agreeing there's one detail that proves it.
The one 'giveaway' Blue Origin's all-women mission was 'fake' according to conspiracy theorists
Multiple conspiracy theorists have pinpointed the moment when the spacecraft landed - or should I say 'landed' - back down on Earth as revealing the mission was 'fake'.

And in particular, the moment Bezos met the space craft and went over to open the door and let the all-women team back out onto Mother Earth.
One Twitter user wrote: "The Blue Origin New Shepherd-31 door 'accidentally' opened from INSIDE by the ladies. In a panic they were told to shut it only so moments later Jeff Bezos could use a 'special' tool to open it (that clearly wasn’t needed).
"Why the theatrics? According to Grok this craft opens from the Outside. For safety all space fairing rockets are opened from the outside."
Ah yes, because Elon Musk's generative artificial intelligence chatbot developed by xAI is known for being 100 percent accurate every time, eh?

However, another user has pointed out the same moment too.

"The moment they almost ruined the fake opening of the door for Jeff… keep your eyes on the door the first few seconds, don’t blink… then edit to the moment he opens it. #BlueOrigin #KatyInSpace," they wrote.
Well, let's see if conspiracy theorists can explain the images of the space craft's launch alongside all the footage taking during the flight too, eh? What do you think?
