Adam Sandler has recalled feeling 'shook up' after picking up a gigantic bill while out with Ozzy Osbourne.
The Black Sabbath frontman’s life is very different nowadays, having tragically been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2020. The singer also had to postpone his upcoming tour dates earlier this year as he recovered from several major surgeries and has quit booze and drugs as he's got older.

Back in his heyday however, there were endless wild stories about the rocker.
He famously tore the head off a bat and chowed down on it while on stage back in 1982.
He’s also recounted his decision to quit acid after talking to a horse for an hour, which he said eventually told him to ‘f**k off’.
In short, he’s definitely someone you’d be wary of taking out to dinner - there’s no telling what he’d get up to.

But Uncut Gems star Adam Sandler was undeterred, having taken the musician out to US steakhouse chain Moreton’s when he was filming 2000’s Little Nicky.
Speaking on the Dan Patrick Show back in 2014, the host asked Sandler to share the biggest tab he’d picked up.
Sandler said: “I get hit with $7,500 sometimes and I just shake it off. You just take it and try not to get the look of a tightened stomach.
“I paid for Ozzy one night. I went out to dinner at Moreton steakhouse, it was when we were doing Little Nicky and I wasn’t quite as filthy rich as I am now.

“It shook me up. It was like $18,000.”
You’re probably wondering what on earth the ‘War Pigs’ singer ordered? Did he get peckish for bat again?
Sadly the answer is more prosaic.

Sandler said: “I think he had a petite filet. There were a lot of people there that night.”
Weirdly enough, Osbourne is not the only music icon Sandler has treated to a slap-up meal.
He said: “You know one night at Moreton’s I was eating with Ron Wood and Keith Richards. [That was] fantastic. Ronnie Wood can put it back.”
Who wouldn’t want to be a fly on the wall that night? Let’s hope Ronnie and Keith didn’t rack up another $18,000 bill.

In between wining and dining rock legends, Sandler is set to reunite with the Safdie brothers for a new film after their critically acclaimed 2019 movie Uncut Gems.
He's also set to star alongside his wife and daughters in new Netflix movie You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
