A video has emerged of Anne Hathaway getting offended and clapping back after being asked about her weight during an interview.
The Canadian film critic and TV/radio personality, Chris Van Vliet, appears to try to shift the conversation during a press interview for the actor's 2011 film, One Day.
You can see the toe-curling interview here:
At what appears to be the wrapping up of his time with the star, he not so subtly asks about an upcoming film and, in particular, that famous catsuit.

"Fans are really excited about this. It was a couple days ago we finally saw the first photos of you as Catwoman."
The A-lister rolls her eyes, seemingly aware of the question that's about to rear its ugly head.
"How do you fit into that suit?"
Hathaway erupts with laughter as she tries to politely evade the body shaming question replying: "It takes three of us and a lot of lead time."

She continues: "Sit-ups, tricep curls and, you know, bench kicks - I don't know."
Biting, the actor snaps back: "You did not just ask me that. What a forward young man you are! My goodness - how much weight?!"
The interviewer seemingly backtracks but seems thrilled at her appalled reaction: "I'm sorry. I'm not saying you needed to lose weight."

Hathaway narrows her eyes and answers with remarkable restraint: " I've worked very hard to become Selena Kyle."
He agrees: "I know you have."
The forward interviewer then thanks the actor for her time and apologies saying: "I'm sorry if I offended you."
To which Hathaway responds with a laugh and a hand shake: "You didn't at all I'm just messing with you."

This video has resurfaced hot on the heels of Ariana Grande uploading a rare video to TikTok where she addresses what people have been saying about her.
She said in a piece to camera on her TikTok page: "I just wanted to address your concerns about my body and talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to.
"I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people's bodies, no matter what.

"If you think you're saying something good or well intentioned, whatever it is: healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not sexy...we just shouldn't."
