Reporter reveals heartbreaking reason why Blake Lively’s ‘offensive’ comment in ‘shocking’ interview left her traumatized

A 2016 video of reporter Kjersti Flaa interview Blake Lively has been a topic of discussion of late

A reporter is lifting the lid on a now-viral interview between her and Blake Lively.

In 2016, Kjersti Flaa interviewed Lively, alongside her co-star Park Posey, ahead of the release of their movie Cafe Society.

But Flaa never uploaded the interview anywhere because of how 'uncomfortable' it made her.

Now, eight years on from the incident, Flaa has decided to upload it to YouTube for everyone to see Lively's 'shocking' behavior.

In one particular moment during the interview, Flaa congratulated the actress on her pregnancy. At the time of the conversation the Simple Favor star was carrying her and husband Ryan Reynold's second child, Inez.

"Congrats on your little bump," said Flaa, to which Lively responded: "Congrats on your little bump."

However Flaa was not pregnant at the time.

She proceeded to ask the two actors about their Cafe Society wardrobes, for Lively to say: "I wonder if [reporters] would ask the men about the clothes?"

Since uploading the video onto YouTube, Flaa's clip has generated almost two million views.

In light of this, Flaa has been showered with support - something which she's thanked people for.

Further speaking out about the uncomfortable interview, Flaa said it left her 'traumatized'.

Speaking to Mail Online, the 51-year-old journalist said: "It was such a traumatizing experience to me. I was there to do a job and they made sure to make it as difficult as possible for me to do that."

"I was there so they could promote a movie. I was invited to meet them. It certainly did not feel like that.

"I felt belittled and ignored and it made me question if I ever wanted to do these types of interviews again."

"It took me a while to get over it and build up my confidence again," Flaa added.

Making Lively's comments even more hurtful, Flaa revealed to the publication that she's never been able to fall pregnant.

With this in mind, she said that the Gossip Girl actor's retort was 'like a bullet'.

She went on to say that she couldn't wait for the interview to end while it was happening and to this day is unsure why the two stars behaved the way they did towards her.

The video resurfacing comes amid rumors that Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni didn't get on very well during filming.

UNILAD have approached Lively's reps for comment.
