Ariana Madix has revealed her anxiety was ‘through the roof’ and felt like she was at ‘rock bottom’ upon discovering her partner of nine years, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair with her best friend.
American TV personality Madix, 37, is best known for appearing on Bravo's reality series, Vanderpump Rules.
Madix made her debut on the show in 2014 and confirmed she was dating fellow cast member Sandoval, now 39, during the season 2 reunion episode.

However, earlier this year, it was revealed that her boyfriend of nine years had been having a month-long affair with her best friend, Raquel Leviss, 28.
Following the public fall-out and the split with Sandoval, the Florida-born personality told People that she had serious bouts of anxiety.
She told the outlet: “My anxiety at first was through the roof. Those first few weeks… Just the stomach ache, not being able to fall asleep, not eating and feeling sick even at the idea of wanting to eat. It was really so bad.”

She continued: “I felt like rock bottom. I’ve gone through other stuff before on the show but nothing like this at all.
“But there’s nowhere else to go from rock bottom except up. So honestly, realising that really helped me come out of that.
Elsewhere in the conversation, she cited the recent support she received from her best friends as the reason she’s remained ‘upright’ during the heartbreaking ordeal.
She said: “I really have the best friends and the best support system that anybody in the world could ever, ever ask for.

“The way that they showed up for me in the weeks after this all happened, was nothing short of absolutely incredible.
“There was a spreadsheet that my friend Meredith made to make sure that I was taken care of and that I was upright,” she revealed. “Because [the] first few weeks there, I really was not.”
Madix then went on to say that she’s moving forward with her life and is hoping that she can still see the good in people.

She said: “A friend of mine — about 10, 11 days after I found out — encouraged me not to lose that part of myself; to still see the good in people, and to trust people, and to be loyal to my friends and my relationships.
“But her saying that, and hearing that from others too, has really helped me move forward. I’m getting there, at my own pace,” she added.
At this moment in time, it’s not known whether Madix will appear on the 11th season of Vanderpump Rules, but she told Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush that she would like to return.
She stated: “I think I’ll be back… If they’ll have me back.”
