Charlie Sheen is reuniting with the creator of Two and a Half Men a dozen years after they had a falling out and an expensive lawsuit.
The actor and creator had quite the falling out back in 2011 when Sheen was fired from the popular sitcom he'd had a leading role in amid a public meltdown.
At the height of his popularity he was pretty much the highest-paid actor on TV, earning $1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men, before being fired in March 2011 during a time when he was struggling with drug addiction.

Sheen heavily criticised Lorre in an interview, getting himself fired and his character written out of Two and a Half Men with the explanation that he'd died offscreen, and later launched a $100 million lawsuit against Lorre and WBTV.
He'd go on to give a series of other interviews where he claimed he was a 'warlock with tiger blood', had 'Adonis DNA' and was 'winning'.
The lawsuit was settled eventually and Sheen later expressed regret for the way things had turned out and his actions, as well as saying he hoped for a reconciliation with Lorre.

The actor said he'd 'traded early retirement for a f**king hashtag' and if he could turn back the clock he'd have gone to rehab as his manager suggested instead of going through a substance abuse programme at his home.
He also said he regretted asking for such a high salary while working on Two and a Half Men and insisted that his road to recovery had to begin with taking 'absolute ownership of my role in all of it'.
He seems to have patched things up with Lorre now, as according to Deadline, the actor has been cast in a recurring role in How to Be a Bookie, a new comedy being made for Max (the merger of HBO Max and Discovery+) by Lorre.

The highly-anticipated show will be a single-camera comedy helmed by Sebastian Maniscalco.
Sheen and Lorre worked together for eight years on Two and a Half Men with the actor earning four Emmy nominations for his part in the show.
Following his exit from the sitcom he starred in Anger Management and appeared as himself in Scary Move 5.
How to Be a Bookie is currently in production so audiences will have to wait a while to see the fruits of Sheen and Lorre's reunion but if it's anywhere near as successful as Two and a Half Men then it'll be worth waiting for.
