Chris Tyson has spoken out about rumors they were fired by MrBeast.
The content creator is one of MrBeast's, real name Jimmy Donaldson, closest friends, appearing in a number of his videos.
And this is what they had to say about their rumored departure:
Last month, Tyson revealed they were receiving gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy, with their social media account saying they go by any pronouns.

Tyson chose to address their changing appearance after fans began remarking on it in the YouTube comments, leading them to open up about their identity.
"HRT, and it’s only been 2 months," Tyson responded to one user.
"Informed consent HRT saved my and many others' lives.
"The hurdles gnc (gender non-conforming) people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me.

"Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies."
They added: "I was super nervous to be public about this because I’ve always been so private when it comes to this, but seeing conversations started because of me is amazing."
At the time, MrBeast and others came out and showed their support for their decision.

"Yeah, this is getting absurd. Chris isn’t my 'nightmare' he’s my f**ken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to p**s me off," MrBeast tweeted in response to a video claiming that Tyson would 'soon be a nightmare' for him.
Despite this, however, rumors continued to do the rounds that Tyson had been cut from the team after opening about his gender.
But now, Tyson has explained exactly how it all went down, quashing any speculation.

Responding to a question online about the circumstances of their apparent departure, Tyson said: "I told Jimmy, just because I want to spend time with [his two-year-old son] Tucker and he’s traveling a lot, I’m just going to come and go as I please.
"I came to Japan, and I left when I pleased.
"I don’t know if I can say I went to Mexico. I went to Mexico and then I came back."
I mean, it should also be noted that Tyson did appear in a video with MrBeast after coming out with their story, which should have been a hint for peeps.

On 25 April, MrBeast's channel published a video called 'Funniest Animals On The Internet!' which featured Tyson and fellow MrBeast channel star Chandler Hallow watching videos, with $100 donated to an animal charity each time they couldn't help but laugh.
So I reckon it's time we just put the rumors to bed and started being a little more compassionate, eh?
