UFC President Dana White has claimed social media moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are ‘dead serious’ about facing one another in a UFC fight.
If there are two people who would probably be very justified in carrying out a fight from behind the safety of their computer screens, it would be the co-founder of Facebook and the owner of Twitter.

The pair have all the social media power they need to face off against one another through a screen, but after Musk learned that Zuckerberg could be working on an app to rival Twitter, the Tesla CEO threatened to bring things into the real world.
After news of Zuckerberg's reported app, rumored to be titled Threads, came to light, Musk tweeted: "I’m up for a cage match if he is lol."
Zuckerberg is no stranger to physical fights, having taken up a jiu jitsu as a sport, so he decided to accept Musk's offer. But he didn't do it on Twitter, of course.

Instead, Zuckerberg relied on one of his company's own platforms to share his response, posting a photo of Musk’s comments on Instagram and writing: “Send me location.”
It's a fight none of us knew we needed, but now that the idea of it is out there, it's something that needs to happen.
Luckily for us, White claims that both men are definitely down for the fight.
Speaking to TMZ Live today (22 June), the UFC president claimed he's been communicating with both Zuckerberg and Musk since last night, and has learned that they both want to go head-to-head in Las Vegas.
"I talked with Mark and Elon last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this," White said. "They both said 'yeah we'll do it', they both want to do it."

If it does end up going ahead, White is confident the fight would be the most-watched bout of all time.
"This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world... The biggest fight of all time was Floyd and Conor, I just think it triples that - it triples what that did, there's no limit on what that thing can make," he said.
While Zuckerberg is already known to be trained in the sport of jiu jitsu, White reckons Musk will be able to hold his own as he's claimed he's done martial arts and been involved in 'plenty of fights growing up in South Africa'.
Will it be enough to beat Zuckerberg? I guess we'll have to just wait and see.
