Ed Sheeran has admitted to getting so high while smoking with Snoop Dogg that he ended up being unable to see.
There are some opportunities in life that you just really can't pass up. Scratching a scratch card you've found on the street, or eating the fries that have fallen out into the bottom of the McDonald's takeaway bag are a couple of examples that spring to mind.
Another is the opportunity to smoke weed with Snoop Dogg himself.
Obviously, there are few people in the world who will ever actually have this opportunity, but Sheeran is one of them, and he wasn't going to let it get away.

During an appearance on the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast, Sheeran explained that he doesn't 'really smoke at all', but he couldn't resist when he found himself hanging out with Snoop in a dressing room in Melbourne, Australia, after convincing his wife and mother-in-law that they had to attend one of his shows.
“I was in the dressing room and they’re just [smoking] blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt, and I’m like, I guess at some point during the night I have to, just to be like, ‘I smoked with Snoop Dogg’," Sheeran explained.
The singer recalled the moment Snoop offered up a blunt, thinking: "Now’s the time."

The two performers were having 'good conversation', during which Sheeran smoked 'a bit'.
"I was like, ‘I don’t feel too bad. This is good'," he recalled.
Unfortunately, Sheeran got lured in by that 'good' feeling and ended up getting a bit too carried away.
"Then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more," he said. If you've ever tried weed, you'll know this is where Sheeran went wrong.

“I just remember looking at him and being like, ‘I can’t see right now'."
It's unclear what Snoop thought about Sheeran's reaction to the weed, but as a very experienced smoker himself, he probably found it pretty funny.
O'Brien then shared his own experience with Snoop, claiming the rapper hot-boxed his dressing room when he appeared as a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in the 90s.

The host said Snoop's dressing room just so happened to be located right next to the studio, meaning it wasn't long before the smoke started filtering out to where the crowd was.
“You could smell it, and we were like, ‘This is wrong on so many levels — it was bring your infant day,’” O’Brien said. “But what are you gonna do? Everyone understands: that’s Snoop Dogg.”
