Though Mickey Rourke’s time in the Celebrity Big Brother house was short, it filled with many controversial moments including a verbal altercation that saw him be removed.
Actor Mickey Rourke was easily one of the biggest names in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother - with him being best known for roles in The Wrestler and Sin City - but his stay wouldn’t be a long one.
The former boxer was offered hundreds of thousands of dollars to appear in the British reality show, but he seemed to quickly get under the skin of both viewers and the other celebrities in the house over a slew of bad moments.

This included homophobic comments directed towards fellow housemate JoJo Siwa, insensitive and ridiculing comments to comedian Donna Preston about her appearance, as well as his overall behavior towards presenter Aj Odudu before he even entered the house.
These moments, alongside a recent confrontation with Love Island star Chris Hughes, likely contributed to the decision to remove him.

On Sunday's (April 13) episode, things got confrontational between Rourke and Hughes, with the actor’s actions being deemed ‘threatening and aggressive’, despite no physical altercation actually taking place.

For those unlucky enough to miss the incident live, a video clip of the clash has begun to spread on social media, with it even being posted on the official YouTube page of the reality TV show.
In the altercation, Rourke appeared to grow annoyed as Hughes ‘eyeballed’ him while the group of celebs where in the middle of a task, dressed as pirates.
When confronted, Hughes insisted it was a joke - but this did nothing to dampen Rourke’s anger as the pair had to be separated by other housemates.
The whole time Rourke repeatedly hurled insults at Hughes, before Big Brother had to intervene and called the actor to the diary room.

He was then reprimanded for this as well as previous ‘inappropriate sexual language’ towards another housemate, TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise.
Big Brother told him: "Mickey, Big Brother needs to speak to you about your behavior. Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behavior was threatening and aggressive. Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behavior.
"In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella."
Mickey claimed he was ‘not aware’ of that, ‘but okay’.

Big Brother continued: "This language has caused offence to your fellow housemates and could cause offence to the viewing public. This is not the first time Big Brother has had to speak to you about your offensive and inappropriate language.
"Big Brother considers your language and behavior today to be seriously unacceptable and as a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the Big Brother house.
"Mickey, is there anything else you’d like to say?"

It was in this moment that Rourke apologized and admitted that he went over the line, and blamed his outburst on his inability to control his ‘short fuse’.
